And Gharana is deep rooted in the musical culture of the Indian sub-continent. Almost all the leading classical musicians of India and Pakistan associate themselves with a Gharana of some sort, taking great pride in the rich heritage of the Gharana they represent. Gharana is a Hindi/Urdu word meaning a family or a household living under one roof.
“Indus Gharana” is an eclectic Band and has always been at the helm of preserving and producing Indian music of various genres merging it with western classical, Jazz, Blues and Rap/Hip-Hop (Rhythm & Poetry).
