Tishaa Khosla has authored the famous book Pink Or Black. This 20-something’s book is about 16-year-olds who drink, party to the hilt with boyfriends, spew out obscenities and often have fun quite mindlessly. Her website claims that over 1.5 lakh copies of the novel have been sold and the book has been reprinted 11 times.
Tishaa Khosla commented in an interview that her book was brought out because she wanted teenagers to understand that they should not lose their own individual talent and voice. “I want teenagers like me to realise that there\'s more to life than fitting in. I had been jotting my daily experiences in a personal journal, so, in a sense, I had the raw material (for the novel) ready. When I turned 16, I decided that I\'d convert my diary into a book. I sat home for two years, appeared for Class 12 exams through correspondence, and wrote the book,” says Khosla who completed her schooling from Lawrence School, Sanawar. Right now she is studying filmmaking at New York Film Academy.
