Author Ravi Subramanian is a banker by profession and has written three books. He is an alumnus of IIM-Bangalore (batch of 1993). His vast experience of 20 years with multinational banks ((Citibank, ANZ Grindlays Bank and HSBC) has provided the setting for many of his works of fiction.

His book If God Was A Banker won the prestigious Golden Quill Award for Readers Choice in 2008. His second release: I Bought the Monk’s Ferrari followed by his third: Devil in Pinstripes were also declared as bestsellers.

Ravi also writes popular columns for many well-known magazines and does a column in The Economic Times.

Aspiring to be the John Grisham of banking, Ravi intends to continue writing books in the same genre. “If people think of a banking story, they need to think of me. That’s when I would count myself as a successful author,” he says confidently.

He resides in Mumbai with his wife and 11-year-old daughter.
