Muneeza Shamsie is a Pakistani author, editor, and bibliographer. Her works include A Dragonfly in the Sun: An Anthology of Pakistani Writing in English, Leaving Home: Towards a New Millennium: A Collection of English Prose by Pakistani Writers, And the World Changed: Contemporary Stories by Pakistani Women, and And the World Changed: Contemporary Stories by Pakistani Women (U.S. edition). She is the mother of noted Pakistani author Kamila Shamsie. She currently lives in Karachi and attended Wispers School in England.
Muneeza Shamsie was the Regional Chairperson (Europe and South Asia) of the Commonwealth Writers Prize in 2010 and 2011. She writes for Pakistan’s English-language newspaper Dawn and magazines such as Herald and Newsline.
