Nawabzada Mirza Jamiluddin Ahmed Khan, popular as Jamiluddin Aali was born on January 20, 1926 in Delhi. He is a noted Urdu language poet, critic, playwright, essayist, columnist, and scholar. His family migrated to Pakistan and settled in Karachi. He joined the Civil Services of Pakistan in 1951. In 1971, he obtained an FEL and LLB from Karachi University. Aali earned a BA in Economics from the Anglo-Arabic College in Delhi. Some of his literary work includes ballades like Aye Mere Dasht-e-Sukhan, Ghazlain Dohay Geet, Jeeway Jeeway Pakistan, La Hasil , Nai Kiran, Couplet\'s collection, Dohay and travelogues like Duniya Mere Aagye, Tamasha Mere Aagye, Iceland, Hurfay and patriotic songs such as Aye Watan Ke Sajelay Jawanoo, Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan, Hum Mustafavi Mustafavi Hain ad more.
