Enormously talented Raghuveer Yadav is an Indian singer, music composer, set designer and stage, film and television actor. After running away from home, he acted and sung for over 2500 shows with the Parsi Theatre Company from 1967 to 1973. After this he joined the National School of Drama and went on to act in about forty plays and over two thousand shows for the NSD Repertory.
Raghuveer made his silver screen debut with the highly acclaimed film, Massey Sahib in 1985. For his performance in the movie, Raghuveer Yadav received two international awards and several Indian awards. So far, Raghuveer has acted in countless Bollywood movies including three Oscar nominated films, namely Salaam Bombay, Water and Lagaan. He has also acted in the popular television show, Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne. Raghuveer Yadav is the only Indian recipient of the Silver Peacock Best Actor Award given by IIFI.
