Hemant Pandey Biography of Hemant Pandey : Jul 24, 2009 - Hemant Pandey, more famously known as 'Pandey ji" from serial 'Office-Office' has constantly maintained balance between his career in films and T.V serials. Good comic timing and marvelous acting skills has made him develop his own identity in both genres. In tête-à-tête with him, he says about his film "Sankat City", his role in the film and his future projects. Following is the conversation with him.As the film, even I play a unique character. He's dumb and faces lots of humiliation from everyone. He takes in all the abusive and aggressive behavior and remains suppressed. He falls in love with a girl who works in a red-light area. And this adds on to the his humiliation. How much ever he feels like stopping others to mis-behave with his girlfriend, but can't and lives with it. A few of his accomplishments are 'Bandit Queen (movie)', 'Krissh (movie)', Milenge Milenge (movie), office office (tv show), Mrs. Malinee Iyer (TV show).He will soon be seen as 'Ghasita' on Imagine's 'Neer Bhare Tere Naina - Devi' this January.Ghasita is a common villager and like many in his village, he too is burdened by poverty.Being the sole bread-winner of the family, he does not think twice the moment he gets a chance to become rich even at the cost of his daughter Laxmi being exploited. He fools the villagers by projecting his daughter as a Devi and pockets the money he earns in the name of God. As the wealth starts pouring in, his stature in the village and his lifestyle changes. He starts believing that he is now the most powerful man of the village eventually becoming cunning, shrewd and greedy.
