Her other works include Strange Meeting, The Bird of Night, A Bit of Singing and Dancing and In the Springtime of the Year. Her writings are based on the Gothic style and themes. She was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire in England. She attended Scarborough Convent School and King\'s College London.
