Sonia Singh is an Indo-American, who was born and brought up in Orange County, California. For two years (2000 to 2002) she had moved base to Bombay, where she began writing episodes for a popular Hindi serial. Though she found this new role fun and challenging, she eventually decided to pack up her bags and leave because she thought the money that she was making was just not enough.
While in the US she constantly felt that she didn\'t fit in with the sons and daughters of her parents’ Indian friends and neither felt at home back in the US. It was only 20 years later did she realize that coming from two absolutely diverse cultures was a blessing.
Sonia just loved subjects like English and History and she received a dual Bachelor’s degree in history and political science from California State University in Fullerton. She has written 3 pieces of fiction: Goddess for Hire, Bollywood Confidential, Ghost, Interrupted.
