Sangeeta Bahadur began her literary career with the Kaal trilogy (speculative fiction), the first in the series being Jaal – The Web.
Professionally, she is an Indian diplomat in London and in the last 25 years been posted in Spain, Bulgaria, Mexico and Belgium. She was born to a family of civil servants in Kolkata but studied in Mumbai.
Her first book Jaal, is a mythological adventure drawn from the vast repertoire of Indian spirituality and metaphysics. She has combined laws of matter, the Hindu story of creation, mythology, Vedic philosophy and metaphysics to create her own story.
Sangeeta is married to an architect and has two young daughters.
