Rangeya Raghav was born in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He was a prominent Hindi writer of the 20th century. He started writing early at the age of 13 years and was endowed with a number of literary prizes.
His famous novels Kab tak pukaroon (How Long Do I Call) was adapted into a television series that was aired on Doordarshan. The book talked about conflicts between two social groups of India. His other acclaimed novel, Murdon Ka Teela (The Mound of The Dead), is the story of Indus Valley Civilization, and incorporates details of many archaeological discoveries.
