Paula Yates was born in 1959 at Colwyn Bay in Wales. She lived in Malta, Mallorca, and the U.K. She studied at Penrhos College, Ysgol Aberconwy and Bellver International College. She became a Penthouse model and had three children with her husband Bob Geldoff, the lead singer of The Boomtown Rats. She became a music journalist and she became popular as a television show host for The Tube and The Big Breakfast.
Paula dated Michael Hutchence, the lead singer of INXS and had a daughter with him called Tiger Lily. She died in 2000.
