Lorna Crozier is one of the most famous Canadian poets and holds Head Chair in the Writing Department at the University of Victoria. He poetry collections include Inside is the Sky, Crow\'s Black Joy, Humans and Other Beasts, No Longer Two People, The Weather, The Garden Going On Without Us, Angels of Flesh, Angels of Silence, Inventing the Hawk, Everything Arrives at the Light, A Saving Grace, What the Living Won\'t Let Go, Apocrypha of Light, Bones in their Wings: Ghazals, Whetstone, The Blue Hour of the Day, and Small Beneath the Sky. Some of her other writings include A Sudden Radiance, Breathing Fire (with Patrick Lane), Desire in Seven Voices, Addicted: Notes from the Belly of the Beast, and Breathing Fire 2 (with Patrick Lane).

Lorna Crozier studied at the University of Saskatchewan and University of Alberta. She started her career as a high school English teacher. Later she taught Creative Writing at the Banff School of Fine Arts, the Saskatchewan Summer School of the Arts, and the Sechelt Summer Writing Festival. She also served as the writer-in-residence at the Cypress Hills Community College, the Regina Public Library, and the University of Toronto.
