Arvind Kejriwal is the author of Swaraj and The Right to Information: Vyawharik Margdarshika (co-authored with Vishnu Rajgadia). He is also an ex-Indian Revenue Service officer and a social activist. He is Saathi (fellow) of the Association for India\'s Development and founder of NGO Public cause Research Foundation and India against Corruption.
Arvind Kejriwal was born in Hissar in Haryana. He grew up in Sonepat, Mathura and Hissar. He attended IIT, Kharagpur where he specialized in Mechanical Engineering. He worked with Tata Steel and after his tenure there; he worked with Mother Teresa\'s Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata, the Ramakrishna Mission in the North-East India and Nehru Yuva Kendra. Then he joined the Indian Revenue Service. As a social activist, he has been instrumental with the Right to Information (RTI) act and the Jan Lokpal Bill.
