Varsha is trained in Hindustani Classical Music and Voice culture under eminent gurus like Smt Savita Devi (Banaras Gharana) and Shri Satish Bhatia (Kirana Gharana). She is also well versed with western music, guitar and keyboards.

Her talent was identified right from the early days of school when she was one of the few selected to record an album with legendary Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. She has won several music contests at school, college and university level.  During one such event, she was spotted by veteran singer Smt Shubha Mudgal, which led her into the professional field of music.

This was followed by an 8 song album project ‘Gunguna le’ composed and sung by her, and released by Times Music. The album was featured as the top three albums by Delhi times for several weeks.

Varsha then moved base to Mumbai and over the past few years has been involved in several music projects. She has sung jingles for many popular brands and lent her voice for TV serials and promos for Star TV, Zee and Sony.  She has sung for several film background scores and has recently recorded a solo title tracks for an upcoming film.  

She has sung, composed and arranged music for various remix and version albums.She has worked with several music directors in the industry accumulating a rich experience of various contemporary styles of music and sound. Her current offering is an album called ‘Ab ke Baras’.
