Vaishali Samant is talented singer who does playback as well as Indi-pop. She sings across all genres and her musical knowledge is exceptional. She started training at the age of eight under Jyotsana Mohile. After this she learned the fusion of Hindustani classical music with international music from Pandit Manhohar Chimote.
She made her debut with the album, Aika Dajiba which was the biggest hit of 2003 and also went platinum. Her popular songs include Tu Tu Hai Wohi, Disco 82, Radha Kaise Na Jale (Lagaan), Age Bai Arecha, Dil Jo Bhi Kahe, Kismet Se. She was nominated for the Emmy’s in 2003 and also nominated for Best artist from India in the MTV Music Asia Awards 2004.
