Sneha Pant is a well known singer who mainly sings for pop albums and does cover vocals for remixed old Bollywood hits. She was discovered by famous music director Kalyanji, who also became her mentor later in her career. She is a student of vocal classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalya in New Delhi. She received training in classical vocals by Mrs. Shikha Ganguly (Kirana Gharana).
Sneha shot to fame after winning the famous reality singing competition, TVS Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1998. She then began singing several remixed Bollywood numbers and became famous for singing hit tracks like Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar, Zara Parda Hata Do, On The Roof In The Rain and Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re. She has also won many awards, the most famous being MTV IMMIES which she received in 2004. She has also sung in several award winning albums and also earned a stardust nomination for best playback singer.
