Sharad is a multi faceted artist who started his performing career as a model and actor and while he is successful in that art his yearning to compose and sing did not die.
After finishing MBA, one would have thought a corporate job would be the ideal profile, but he ended up working for a music company. This also created an opportunity for him to be close to his first love, 'Music'.
He says, “Music was something that was always constant in my life - whether it was singing competitions in School or the Annual day in college. Whether it was asking Mom to take me to the Pankaj Udhas concert as an award for doing well in School exams, or buying Cassettes from saved pocket money.”
After his stint with promoting albums, the next step took him to promote artistes with his own Artist Management Company. He performed his first show as a singer at Khandwa, the place where Kishore Kumar grew up. After winning rave reviews in Khandwa, more shows happened and he started training in music under Pt. Girdhar Prasad Jaipurwale.
Prompted by his actor friends, he took to modelling and endorsed some good brands like Fevicryl , Muthoot Group , Tropicana , Maggi Vegetable Atta Noodles , Emami Mr. Black , Cycle Agarbatti , Donear , Iffco Tokio Insurance , Citibank etc. and many in the South like JC Sarees , Sowbaghya Kitchen appliances , Nathella Jewellery , Holiday Constructions , Samsung Television etc .
Due to all this multi tasking, he developed ENT issues that made him give music a back seat and acting, center stage. What followed was a serial called Har Ghar Kuchh Kehta hai on ZEE, Mahi Vey on Sony TV and a short film in English called ' SQUALL '.
They say you can never forget your first love. So music had to stage a come back. An acting project postponed led to some time on hand and he got his synthesizer repaired and starting reworking on some compositions and making some new ones - and this is how Sukoon and Tera Yeh Nasha were created.
His music is soulful, melodic and youthful and has the ability of creating a demand that Sharad would be more than happy to supply to.
