Rakhi Sawant Biography of Rakhi Sawant : Rakhi Sawant (born on 25 November 1978) is an Indian dancer, Hindifilm and television actress, model and television talk show host.Rakhi Sawant was born in a Marathi Hindu family in Mumbai on November 25, 1978.She attended Goklibai High School in the Vile Parle suburb of Mumbai. She proceeded to Mithibai College in Vile parle, Mumbai to study Arts. She is the sister of film director Rakesh Sawant and former actress Usha Sawant.Sawant's family has been a conservative one.In 2003, she auditioned for an item number in the Bollywood movie, Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne. She auditioned about four times before being finally selected for her breakthrough item number, "Mohabbat Hai Mirchi". Since then, she has appeared in some Hindi films and few Kannada, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil films in roles commonly attributed to item girls. She has also featured in many videos of many music albums.In June 2006, Mika Singh, a prominent Punjabi musician forcibly kissed her at his birthday party, which converted into a major media controversy.A few months later, after her controversy with Mika Singh, she appeared in the first season of the reality show Bigg Boss and was among the top four finalists. She received wider notice as a contestant for her dramatic fights with her housemates in Big Boss's house.She formerly dated Abhishek Avasthi with whom she participated in Nach Baliye 3. After the couple lost the contest against Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali in 2007, they filed a suit against Star Plus accusing the channel of tampering with the audience voting system.Rakhi established herself in the world of television and is called " The controversy Queen ".
