RAAHIE is the brainchild that was born in the City of Dreams, Mumbai of emerging stars of tomorrow; Ashwin Xavier Pinto and Anshul Singh.
Anshul Singh
A passionate singer, voicing his soul he comes from the family with musical accomplishments.Embarked on the musical voyage as a Vocalist from college band.He was influenced from Hindustani and Sufi style music and performed at various prestigious inter-collegiate events.He was among the top three finalists in IIT singing competition. He has also composed songs for college rock band, which has performed around Delhi. An experienced engineer by profession who could not help reciprocate the call of music and took plunge in the musical world by getting relocated to Mumbai in search of fulfilling his dreams, a classic example of someone who believes in Follow your heart and your dreams will come true!
Ashwin Xavier Pinto (PAX)
A critically acclaimed musician, who has proved his mantle in the fields of music production, composing, programming, arranging, editing & mixing etc. He has done his MBA in Media and Entertainment. He has been nominated at Global Konkani Music Awards (2009) in Best Music Composer category, performed as a Singer in Dubai at Family Fiesta organized by Mangalore Konkans, worked with the likes of internationally acclaimed musical greats Remo Fernandes, UshaUthup, Lucky Ali, Gurukiran,etc. He has also composed and scored music for 3 Short Films. Produced and released 5 Music Albums in Konkani/Kannada and was felicitated for music composition of MogAsom at Sangeethotsav held in Bangalore in 2007.He has devised advanced sound arrangements as well as played roles of keyboardist &vocalist in many rock n roll / Bollywood Bands around Mangalore, Karnataka.
