The Patiala boy Jassi Saggu always had flair for writings songs and poetry. Since his childhood days only he always liked to express himself in a poetic manner. This is where his love for writing songs started. This 27 year old youngster is quite multi talented. Besides writing he used to show his creativity and express himself on canvas. He did his Masters in Fine Arts from Punjabi University. He has bagged gold medal at All India level.
During his University days, his songs and poems gained a lot appreciation. The appreciation also turned into an encouragement for singing. Be it his family or friends, everyone used to tell to pursue singing. Moreover all his friends were singers. His college days have been spent in a very musical atmosphere. Hence his love for singing also grew gradually.
Though he started writing songs at the age of 16 but from past three he has been professionally writing songs for singers.
So far Jassi has penned lyrics for four Punjabi albums. His singing journey has just begun. He is working on his upcoming Punjabi album. The writer cum singer is all set to make a mark in Punjabi music industry.
