Born in Lucknow--Raised in Los Angeles, C.A., the 'Law School bound' girl never thought that her passion for singing will bring her back to India--Where she was meant to carry it forward. The girl who found no better joy than to sing her heart out, found that her soul can not only sing, but can write words to make her songs come alive.
The high I get from pouring my heart n' soul into words on paper with my pen and making them into a song, is something I have no words for--It's just 'Love.' This is what I am meant to do. To share not only my voice, but the person behind my songs with all of you and the world.

Knowing that an artist needs to keep exploring, learning and growing to become better to deliver better, I started my journey into learning Vocal Indian Classical under the legendary, Padmabhusan Girija Devi, and living with her in her proper-traditional Gurukul from March of 2013. Girija Devi, lovingly called, "Appa Ji", is not only my GURU and Guide, but the best thing to happen to me in this musical journey of mine. As my 1st Guru in life, I couldn't have asked for a better one, than the BEST that God has blessed me with! With her teachings of (Banaras Gharana) thumri, dadra, chaiti, tappa, kajari, jhoola, bhajans, and many other folk songs, and with knowing and exploring what I knew from before, I am only unfolding my leaves to make myself and my voice more versatile and a better blend of the two musical worlds I know--Indian & Western. To have my fans and other fellow musicians, relate to me and my music more.
