Deane Sequeira, a rising star in the Hip Hop, RnB - Rap scene, is India’s youngest female rapper. Regardless of being just fifteen years old, her talent as a rapper, singer, song-writer and composer has been precocious.
Born into a Goan - Catholic family in Mumbai, Deane first gained inspiration from her father, who in addition to being an hotelier is a musician, artiste manager and producer representing and travelling with some of the top names in the Indian music industry. It is in this nurturing environment that Deane has developed her talent and passion for music coupled with watching her idols like Eminem, Akon, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber on VH1 and MTV.
At 14 years Deane stepped into the studios and recorded her first original Hip Hop – RnB - Rap song “Random” which she composed, sung, rapped and wrote the lyrics too, encompassing all parts of song development.
“Random” is an international flavour RnB Hip-Hop song, produced at a global level by 5th String Inc. Music Production and renowned music director Arya Acharya.
“Random” has been analysed by international RnB mega star AKON and his company Hitlab and has received a dynamic hit score (DHS) of 97% , which means it is widely appealing and has an international hit potential demonstrating patterns similar with hits of some of the billboard hot 100 chart topping singles and industry big stars.
A determined Singer-Rapper, promises to make India proud by setting foot at the Grammy’s soon one day.
