Cadent Slaves is a Metal band from Hyderabad, India. Formed as an Experimental Rock band in 2008 & grew into Metal by early 2009. But, active since November, 2011.
Our musical style can now be classified as Heavy Metal/Doom Metal/Alternative Metal.
The band’s major influences are Metallica, Slayer, Opeth, Gojira, Porcupine Tree, Katatonia, Anathema, Tool, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Lamb of God & many more.
We are now more furious about writing our own music & have five Compositions:
Of late, we have released our first Single “Cadence Theme” & finished Music Video for the same & looking forward to a right platform to release.
Santosh - Vocals/Guitars
Santosh Nanduri is the guitarist, songwriter, vocalist & band’s representative. He has been the only constant member for all the activities related to the band. He first took Keyboard lessons from his father, later he began to play Guitar. Finally, his interests moved towards Metal & its Sub-Genres. He is highly influenced by the bands; Metallica, Opeth, Katatonia, Anathema, Porcupine Tree, Gojira, Tool, Slayer & Gary Moore etc.He has a unique style of composing Heavy & Melodic music & it primarily defines the band’s sound.
Sagar - Bass/Backing Vocals
Sagar Ramchandruni is the Bassist & Backing Vocalist for the band. He has been the second constant member of the band.He is a well trained Classical Guitarist & Bassist & is very proficient in fingerstyle guitar playing. He is very much influenced by bands of various genres; RHCP, Porcupine Tree, Led Zeppelin, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Gojira, Death, Lamb of God etc.
He also Considers Flea of RHCP as his biggest inspiration.
Gaurav - Drums
Gaurav Bhasin is the Drummer of the band. He joined the band in August 2012. He is a self-taught Drummer & is pretty decent technically & musically. He is an aggressive drummer & has also got a unique style of playing the rolls & fills. He is highly influenced by the bands; Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, Opeth, Lamb of God, Anathema, Porcupine Tree etc.
Aneesh - Guitars
Aneesh Neladri is the momentary Guitarist for the band with similar influences to that of others. He currently understands the band’s Music & will continue to perform with the band for quite sometime.
