Basant Singh has done his schooling from Sherwood Nainital and graduated with English Hon's from the prestigious Hindu College Delhi University. His love for music dates back to his early childhood, trained in Hindustani classical by Ms Amarjeet & Pt Mani Prasad Ji of Kirana Gharana. Basant has made his guru proud by expanding his horizons beyond the Khyaal Gayaki.
Basant, a lover of nature, believes all his musical works is whispered into his ears by the existence around him. According to him the trees, the stream and the wind are constantly singing, all u need is an attentive ear to hear those sounds and convert them in to music.
