Raza Ali Abidi is a Pakistani journalist, travel writer, children’s writer, essayist, and broadcaster. He worked for the BBC Urdu service until his retirement in 1996. His travelogues include Jernaili Sadak, Sher Darya, Jahaazi Bhai, Rail Kahani, and Radio ke Din, Kutub Khana. His writings for children include Pehla Taara, Pehli Kiran, Champa, Mun-mun, Meri Ammi, Pyari Maa, Zalim Bhedia, Ulta Ghoda, Qazi ji ka Achaar, Pehli Ginti, Gungunata Qaida, Bandar ki Alif Bay.
