Palash Krishna Mehrotra has written an anthology of short stories titled Eunuch Park. The book has 15 short stories of Love and Destruction written by this 36-year-old Dehradun-based author.
Palash Krishna Mehrotra was born in Mumbai in 1975 and was educated at St Stephen’s College, Delhi, the Delhi School of Economics and Balliol College, Oxford. He is also a contributing editor at Rolling Stone and writes a regular column for Mail Today. Palash now lives in Dehra Dun with his grandmother. Palash is currently working on a non-fiction book on young India titled The Butterfly Generation.
The first story in Eunuch Park Mehrotra is centered around a man living in a posh Delhi locality. The next story Nick of Time captures the life of a man who is coping with societal dangers that accompany a man unsure of his sexuality.
Commenting on his collection of short stories, Palash Mehrotra said in an interview, "When I was working on it (Eunuch Park) I had an idea that it would have 15 such stories. There was a theme running through the story. But it was gradually that I found my voice."
