Clive Barker is a British writer, film director and visual artist. His genres of writing include fantasy and horror fiction. Some of his books are The Damnation Game, The Hellbound Heart, Weaveworld, Cabal, The Great and Secret Show, Imajica, The Thief of Always, Everville, Sacrament, Galilee, Coldheart Canyon: A Hollywood Ghost Story, Tortured Souls, Abarat, Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War, Mister B. Gone, Mr. Maximillian Bacchus and His Travelling Circus, Absolute Midnight, The Candle in the Cloud, Abarat: The Price of Dreams, Abarat: The Eternal, The Art 3, and The Scarlet Gospels. His works of non-fiction are The Painter, The Creature and The Father of Lies: Essays by Clive Barker and Beneath the Surface of Clive Barker\'s Abarat Companion.
