A physics graduate, Asif Ali Beg is a known name in the Indi-pop business. Asif Ali Beg always had a deep interest in music due to his singer father and pianist mother. He started his singing career in college by performing in hotels and restaurants. After this he joined a wedding band.
After venturing into tailoring and designing, he finally returned to singing to amalgamate all his passions into a musical band. He named it Mantra.
